Even though we really like the Super Pet Bath House we do NOT like the sand that comes with it. It is entirely too grainy to sink deep into the chinchillas skin to remove oils. We feel chinchilla dust should be much more powdery, though messier, to do an efficient job. We use this stuff to soak up oils spills in the garage.

I have found that chinchilla sand doesn't remove the oils effectively and the sand can damage the fur.
