I switched way back when for cleanliness reasons. Too much dust all over the furniture. It looked like it got the same results until about three months later. It didn't matter how many times my baby took a bath, she never looked clean. Went to Blue Cloud and saw a tremendous difference. I will absolutely put up with the dust based on what my babies fur looked like with the sand.

Ugh! A free packet of this came with my chin's bath house. I thought it was okay, but Patrick came out feeling like a sandbox. I switched to the Bath Dust, and you could instantly see the difference! I wouldn't recommend this product past the free sample.

I have always used the Kaytee dust but saw the new bath sand and decided to use it, my chins hated it and just used it to pee on. I don't recommend the sand for bathing.

My chin seems to be equally happy with sand or dust. I do think his fur looks nicer with the dust; however, I keep sand on hand for when I have houseguests or otherwise don't want the mess. My chin can still play without disturbing anyone!
