Good concept but has no durability whatsoever. If you have any concept of working with wood, i would suggest you try to build your own out of thick plywood. It can usually be purchased in a 2' by 2' square so you don't have to buy an entire sheet. If making a hole in one of the sides is an issue for you, simply leave that side off. I use non-toxic wood glue and dowel pins to hold it together but small wood screws would do an equally safe job. Also rather than having a loose roof i affix mine to the house.

It's a great chin toy, as long as you're not too insistent that it stay in one piece. Mine knocked the roof off, chewed the slots apart, and scattered the pieces all over the cage. But they still love to sleep on the boards and chew them to bits.

This house looked good to begin with and our chin loved it, but the top isn't secured with anything and he knocked it off on a regular basis. The top was held in place by pieces of wood that were nailed on and within a few days our chin had chewed enough wood to expose the nails. It lasted less than a few weeks.

This is a nice easy to put togeather hut. But the downfall is when you take it out to clean cage it falls apart way to easy the sides slide out and the top keeps falling off.
