Our Chin-Chillers™ can help keep your chinchilla cool and comfortable on warm summer days. Each Chin-Chiller™ is an approximately 6 x 12 x 1/4 piece of solid stone (such as granite or marble). Because Chin-Chillers™ are made of stone they are cooler than the ambient air temperature. So, placing a Chin-Chiller™ in your chin's cage will give your pet a cool place to relax.
To get the maximum cooling effect store your Chin-Chiller™ in a refrigerator. In fact, on really warm days it's nice to have multiple Chin-Chillers™ on hand in the refrigerator so that they can be rotated every few hours.
Some of the Chin-Chillers™ are actually made of very pretty stone, but most are not. They are meant to be functional rather than pretty.

Why, Why, WHY? Why would you pay $12 bucks for a piece of marble that you can get for $3 (twice the size) at any hardward or flooring store. There is nothing special about this product when compared to a ordinary marble floor tile, nothing!

This is a great thing to cool off your chins, but its far too expensive. You can go to a hardware store and get a granite tile for less money than a Chin-Chiller.

My chinchilla loves it! Everytime we take her out she gets hot and love to lay on it. Even with an air conditioner I reccomend you get this as well. Its a very good idea! 5 stars!

All of my chinnies love them. When our air conditioner broke over the summer this is one of the items that helped cool them off. ;o)

My chin loves his chin chillers. I have two so I can always have a cold one from handy. I noticed that my chin too used it when he had a hurt toe. Everyone should have one!
