I have fed my chinchilla a variety of different feeds and I will swear by this product! My chinchilla loves it so much that if I try to give him anything else, he won't eat it! Highly recommended for all chin owners!

Mazuri seems to be a lot fresher than what you can get in a pet store and does not seem to have so much dust in the bag, so less waste. I am very pleased with it as my chins's stools and body weight and so forth are consistent.

First let me say we have tried many different varieties of chinchilla pellets before staying with Mazuri. We have tried Kline, Kaytee, rabbit food, etc. Mazuri is by far superior in our opinion and that of many others we have spoken to. ANY sudden change in diet CAN cause diarrhea with ANY pellet. Changes in diet should be gradual over a two week period. We don't feed anything else and get many compliments on our chinchillas.

I was NOT happy with this food at all. I switched to it from rabbit feed and shortly after, I noticed weight loss, inconsistent weight gain in pregnant chins, way less food being eaten and alot more wasted, food dishes constantly being dumped, the droppings began looking constipated, and I didn't like that Mazuri has corn in it. It is better than alot of food in the pet stores, but I would not recommend using this feed. I currently use APD and am very happy with it.

One of the best foods out there. Isn't made as often as rancher's choice, but still arrives fresh and almost every chin i have ever had likes it. i no longer use it for the feed on my ranch because it is a little costly, but besides cost it isn't bad. Most pet chin owners use this and love it!!!
