Thank you all so very much, I'm so elated.
And you know I'll remember each one of you the rest of my life as being part of this great adventure.
He came home Sunday to a family welcome, it was a great day with both sides of the family passing him a round.
Then Monday we got socked with almost 60cms of snow.Everything was shut down, roads closed and power outages. Then 2 days to clear out. Their calling for more on Sat.
Then Wed. morning at 2am Laura takes with pains in her chest. Just like those that put her in labour.
Her Hubby was so worried he took her to the hospital, baby and all. I met them there.
They were afraid of a blood clot in her lung.Took xrays and blood work but had to wait for the techs to come on at 8am to do a needed cat scan.
Well by noon she finally had the test, and all was fine. She seems to be suffering from gas that pins in her chest and may need to go on something. The Doc said he's seen grown men double over with it, and think they were having a heart attack. They have recommended Zantac.
Oh the rush, and as her Mom you know I was going through all the scenarios
Thankfully all is well.
Darling little Cody slept through the works.
Thing is she can't breast feed now for the next 24 hours, and has to pump off the old milk.
Oh and Colby is still working the night shift,
He sleeps the most from 6 am to noon, and is wide away late nights.
The same schedule his Mom kept during the pregnancy, she worked nights.
I'll get caught up in the next few days with all the new post, I'm not gone anywhere, just shoveling.
