^^ Yes, inbreeding is bad to do. You can't breed with siblings.

General Chat / Re: Herby is claustrophobic, can i help him any?

Maybe try putting him in their and give him a treat, try to make it a positive experience. Treats work wonders but sorry, that's all I can think of. Just keep giving him treats.

Thanks, yes they had thei own chin room to run around in, big homemade cages.

Fur biting is due to bordom or stress but it sounds like you provide them with everything so it's can't be that. To be honest it is so hard to get them to stop fur chewing. Has there been a change in anything, diet, have they moved location, anything?

^^ That is a great idea, I didn't know they would let you do that. That's what I would do.

Thanks Chinmom that means a lot to me. Thanks for the prayer. Loosing 4 really broke my heart. I can't wait for the necro to come in to find out what happened. I still have my boy Tucker and thank goodness was never exposed to them. I took him to the vets, they did blood work and everything and he got a clean bill of health. I just wanted to be on the safe side.

Well the necro should be back in less then a week. I cleaned the chin room with bleach, I have 4 garbage bags of stuff. I threw out all the wooden stuff. Toys, ect. It's just not worth it to give ANYTHING to Tucker. So it went in the garbage and the room is spotless.

I can rememeber the happy memories, Chilly was such a great mom. That was a wonderful experience.
