These are really nice little houses, but you can get a glass cookie jar and it will work just as well if not better. They tend to get a little foggy with the dust so that you can't see the chin rolling well anymore... Who wants a foggy view of the show!

These are great for dusting and if you just fill it with shavings my chins seem to like to sleep in them. The only downsides are they eat the entrance to it up so bad that the thing basically falls apart, if they eat the little plastic hooks on the back then it won't hang ever agian, and my last dislike is when the pee and poop on it, it gets dirty and starts to smell. So there are great things about it and bad things about it.

I have been using a bath house for my chinchilla and she loves it. It is fun to watch her roll around in the house and it does contain the dust. The only problem I have is that a lot of sand still comes out the opening while she is rolling around and when she gets out of the house. Then I have a mess to clean up. But I think it does the best that can be expected and I will continue to use the chinchilla bath houses.

I find the bath house is great to help control the dust in the air and keep it to a minimum for most pet owners. As a breeder, I use metal ones ... they last longer :)

This does help contain so much of that messy chin dust and allows you to view your chin flip flopping around which most people find one of the most entertaining things to watch a chin do. Nice item to have.
