This would be perfect it it wasn't made
of plastic. I did use this product but
my chin stopped using it after awhile.
I think she thought she couldn't go near
it after me telling her "no!" every time
she tried to nibble. I would never
leave my chin unattended with this
product. I have been seeing this in a
lot of reviews, so I have to say this:
Dust Baths are not meant to be left in
cages!

my chin loves this i let her in it for about 5-10 min and then once she is done i take it away such a great dust bath house

This was not meant to be kept in a cage all day...but put in for bath time. My chins LOVE theirs. I've two chins...and they both can fit inside. [When the one is chasing the other out for his turn] I find it easy to clean. I use a small strainer to sift the droppings out if they would happen to drop a few while in there. I've never had an issue with them urinating in their bath. Though...my chins are litter trained to go to a litter pan. So maybe that is why...I'm not sure. But I do love our bath house...that you can see inside to watch them flop around is so adorably cute!

This is excellent for a bath. My chins love it. They come running when I scratch on the top. I can understand the bad reviews about them being chewed up and used for a potty, but you have to remember what it is there for. I have made the misstake of leaving mine in the cage with my chins all night and they also remodeled it. One of my males has a nasty habbit of using it as a potty no matter how long he has been in it. It is irritating to clean. I would prefer it if it could be snapped apart for cleaning. If you have more than one chin be prepared for all of them to try to get in at once. I never thought that 3 chins would fit in this until they showed me. Of course, one will always put the others out and then they will try again one by one. It is cute to watch, but dust will come out of the front, so you have to be careful with where you put it. If you don't want to bother with this, then there is always the good old mixing bowl, but it is easy to take this in and out without all of the mess.

My 2 chins love it!. It is a perfect size to put in the cage for a short time for them to do their business.
