Chinchillas are strict herbivores and therefore are healthier when feed a high fiber diet. Chinchilla Deluxe is a high fiber pellet that is especially designed for the pet Chinchilla. Feed 1-3 Tablespoons everyday in addition to free choice grass hay.

Our chins love Oxbow pellets! They have the mill date on the package so you always know how fresh they are, and they include both calcium and Vit. C, which many others don't. This is one of the best brands available for chinchillas.

I've been feeding oxbow since I got my chins
(a year now). They have beautiful fur and
healthy bowels! Oxbow hay does smell
great and is fresh. Great products

I started my chin giving Oxbow deluxe mixed with the old pellet I got from the pets supermarket and their droppings were no more soft. It has been going on for weeks, that I was afraid I will have to bring them to the Vet, but now I am happy, my problem is solved, at the same time I was giving them Western Oxbow Timothy Hay, they loved it, one can smell how fresh this hay are.

I have been using Oxbow pellets for about a year and a half and I absolutely love it. My chins prefer it over Mazuri and even treat filled foods like L/M. I feel safe feeding it since it's a more natural pellet than most brands. (this also means feeding a supplement but I think that should really be done with any pellet).
I've noticed that with all of my chins after being switched to Oxbow their coats are fuller and shinier as well. I have never had a problem with soft poo and all my chins are in great health. I'd recommend this food anyday.
