Fighting? How do I stop?
« on: September 17, 2012, 07:46:01 AM »

My now 12 week old chin keeps trying to instigate things through the cage bars with my 4 year old

How do I stop this so they'll get along when I start introducing them

How close are the cages? They should be at least 2 inches apart. You could put them on opposite sides of the room for a while. I really don't know that much about doing this other than it is best to not allow them to get close enough to touch each other. It is a process that can take several weeks or months. Perhaps someone with experience would like to share.

Their cages are about 5 inches apart
They Only get touching distance when I let one of them out because theyll sniff each other through the cage
