Disposable pads for cages??
« on: June 11, 2008, 05:53:45 PM »

I would like to know if anyone has ever used those disposable pads in their chins cages?  You know kind of like the blue ones they use in the hospital.  You can buy them in pet stores & everywhere.  I don't mean in the actual cage itself, but in the tray underneath.  I have pull out pans on my cages.  Then, of course, I would put pine
shavings on top of it.  I think it would keep the tray very dry & not
stick like newspaper does.  Cleanup would be so easy. I was reading the package because I am concerned with any scent & such that might be harmful to them.  All it said is that there is baking soda in the pad.  Baking soda doesn't have a scent that I can smell.  Is it ok for the chinnies?  What are your opinions on using these  pads?
