Chinparent point of view...I love the idea of a questionnaire as a starting point for a conversation. I also appreciated the handouts our breeder gave to me when we picked up our chinchilla. I think it is important to include a big section on the handouts or the questionnaire about snacks/treats (or at least bold, large font cautions). Its SOOO tempting to give another raisin when they look at you and grind their little teeth! Yes, yes, I do know better, and we behave at our house.
Also, I found websites through my own efforts. If you as breeders can offer chatrooms or websites that you trust on the paperwork you give to new chinparents, I think it might go a long way toward keep us communicating with people who know about chinchillas.
