Pics of my two CRAZY jack Russell's Rocky and Jack, they are sisters. Rocky is blind, we take her 4 hours away to a specialist every 2 months. It's a long drive. She currently just went blind and now she is learning command words. She bumps into thing but I say "watch it" and she stops. BUT she is such a happy dog, she inspires me, I love them so much. She still goes for walks, she still runs around in the backyard and goes swimming. She gets eye drops 7 times a day, different kinds and she is such a good girl with it. She has trouble with the stairs so I carry her up. So I just thought I would post some pics of them.

oh courtney this is horrible. i send my deepest condolences again to you.

are you gonna have a necro done on at least one of them to see what it is?   i would since more than one died.  the answer might help you out in the future.  i hope that doesn't sound insenstive, because i am not trying to be, i just think for something like this, straight answers would be best.

Thank you. It's really rough right now. I've been up all night, I can't sleep or eat. Yes, Im having a necro done on Chilly. The results will be in, in a week. Oh I take NO offence at all. That is no problem asking, don't worry but yes to have some peace of mind and to protect Tucker Im having one done.

You can move her now, that would be fine. I hope everything goes okay for you. It's amazing to watch them give birth.

This morning I woke up and Chilly, Chicklette and Digit were dead. Mom and her two daughters. Silly must have had something that passed on to them. I only have one chin now, Tucker and he thank goodness in not in the chin room. Im stunned, Im devastated, Im shocked, I was hyperventilating this morning, I could not catch my breath. I beyond sad, sad does not even compare to how I feel, that's 4 chin. There are no more chins in the chin room.

Chicklette, I love you for the little trouble maker you were, always into something. You were so bad but in a good way.

Digit I love you for how hyper and active you were. With all your happy hops and racing around the cage.

Chilly, I love you for the perfect mom you were and how much you loved your children. You were my first chin.

I will miss all three of you with all my heart. I wish I new what happened, it's all my fault for not knowing, Im sorry.  ::cry222:::

Im in total shock.

Yes, I was holding him in my arms crying. I was deviststed. My mom understands, she was there for me, she knows how much I love my animals. I had them when I lived at home and she knows them so she was so upset when silly passed away. He was such a good ball, I miss him with all my heart. I have lots of pics of him that I have been looking at. Trust me I cried a lot. I do tell him how much I miss him and I have his little syuffed bear on my bed, I hold it sometimes. It makes me feel close to him.

Breeding 101 / Re: Is this breeder crazy?
« on: August 17, 2010, 08:38:26 AM »
I learnt from experience. When I first started out breeding I bred too young and one of the females passed away because she was too young. Learn from me, you don't want to breed too young. I raised Peeps on my own and she was the best thing that ever happened to me but she also passed away at 7 years old. I was crushed, still am. But as I started learning, reading, researching, you just can't do it. They will also fight. If you want to breed do some heavy duty research, that's my advice.

Oh they are absolutley adorable. The first mosaic reminds me of one I raised Peeps, her parents died when she was a week old. I had to recently had to put her to sleep, hardest thing I ever had to do. It looks just like her as a kit, she was 7years old.

The same thing happened to me. Silly and Chilly were inseparable and loved each other to bits. I re-introduced Silly and Chilly would fight him. I even got him fixed so he could live with his family but Chilly would not accept him no matter what I did. Mothers can be over protective.

I had a mother Candy who this happened to and the baby came out weighing 28 grams, she passed away. I did my best, even took her to the vets but she was too young. I named her stinker. It was sad, she passed in my arms. ::cry222:::
