Just the other day my son came in the chin room, we had an ebony kit a couple months ago, all of a sudden he says "Storm you're all grown up" I just thought it was funny because he couldn't believe Storm was grown up and he is still a kid. Amazing what you see when you are 5 years old.
I find that my pink white always looks *dirtier* than my other chin colors, even when they get dust baths at the same time, wondering if others find that as well. Just out of curiosity.
Our new baby seems to have small genitals and her belly feels hard and very full. Is this common or has anyone heard of this. She is now three days old and seems to be healthy otherwise, nursing and jumping around. I am just unsure if she is pooping. Any advice or info?
We had two new kits yesterday to our black velvet female and beige male. One was beige and died shortly after birth and another not sure if it is standard or a brown velvet. The other kit is feeding well and looks very healthy at 60 grams.
Is it a common thing if you have a group of chins together (only 1 male) for them to attack or kill new babies. I have read alot of different opinions on this and wondered what experience anyone has had with this. I have 4 chins housed together and 1 female is pregnant and wondered if she needs to be removed or if they will accept the babies. Also if she is removed will she be accepted back in the group when her kit/kits are weened. Thanks Brandy
Just wondering if there was anyone close that had the same interests. Always looking for advice on where to buy supplies cheap, and to chat about our animals.
What are the signs and/or symptoms of a chin that is having a seizure? The reson I ask is I got out my mosaic male the other day and he seemed to be shaking and his heart felt like it was racing, is this a sign? Thanks
