Q & A / Need Introduction Tips PLEASE!

I have a 2 year old male chinchilla named Cheeba. yesterday, i got a 2 month old male chinchilla named Rillo. I have their cages next to eachother, about 2 inches apart. i let my older male, Cheeba, free run and sniff Rillos cage. He got very 'excited' and started scratching at the bars of Rillos cage, and when Rillo appeared he made this angry sounding squeak/sneeze. I guess the noise scared Rillo so he started squeaking and ran into the corner to hide ( is this a bad sign? did i ruin both of them forever?

I am literally losing sleep over this matter!!! please help with any tips or advice you may have!

Q & A / Introducing Another Chin

Hi Guys, this is my first post on Chinchilla Club! 
I have a male chinchilla named Cheeba and he's almost 2 years old.
I go to school full time and have a job, so I feel like he might be kind of lonely. He gets an hour or two of play time outside the cage every day, so for the other 22 hours a day he's just chilling by himself and I feel guilty for leaving him alone in there. 
What are your opinions, tips, or suggestions on introducing him to another male chinchilla that's about 2 months old?
Have you had any issues doing this with your chins?
