Aaron and I have finally set a date to move to Illinois... September 18 of this year. The only problem we're having right now is locating a cage small enough, but safe enough to move Pixel in! Someone help!
Keep in mind that we alre also transporting two dogs and a bird. The bird will stay caged, but the dogs won't, because there just isn't enough room in the car for kennels, and I just can't put them in the back of the truck for that long a ride... It would be evil.
The truck is air conditioned, but we'll be sure to take along *chinchillers* just in case. We've found that empty Sobe bottles with the labels peeled off of them make the best frozen bottles for her. I've had one frozen countless times and it hasn't broken yet!!!
Pixel is looking forward very much to leaving Arizona for the cooler climates of Illinois!

Couldn't you use a cat carrier?

That is what we use...just a small basic pet carrier from Wal-Mart.
