Petra gave birth---to two black velvets

Petra had a female and a male kit on July 29th. Both were black velvets.  I might have to keep that little female.
The female was 71g, and the male was 69g.

 ;) They are just wonderful!!!!!  I guess it's a good thing you don't live close to me, I have wanted another black velvet for a while now!  You really do have gorgeous chinchillas!

OH, they are so beautiful!!!  Good Black Vevlets are getting so hard to find on the east coast!!!!
