Is it Unusual???

Is it odd for my chinchilla to have blue eyes? its the only one his son has brown and all my other chins do too except the beige obviously i was just wondering if anyone else has chins with blue eyes?

It is uncommon and genetic.  I had a beautiful white mosaic male that came from www.circlemchinchillas.com When I noticed he had blue eyes I called Lee, the breeder, and he began to watch. It turns out several of the kits from that male have been born with blue eyes.

good to know i'll keep my eyes open i actually just realized the other day that they were blue.
