Hi everyone!  I came home today to my basement apartment reeking of polyurithane or whatever they use to refinish hard wood floors.  Not only was Lulu and myself disturbed by the long and LOUD sanding process yesterday, but now we're dealing with this smell.  I guess they're putting another coat on tomorrow.  Are these fumes harmful to Lulu?  I have my windows open a crack for the draft, but I don't want her to catch cold either!  Please advise.  Thanks.

Chinchillas have very sensitive noses, I would move her away from teh fumes if at all possible for a day or two.

Thanks.  I think I cleared the fumes out from the open windows, so that's good.  But I just found half a chewed leaf from my Jade plant on the floor!  Will she be ok?

Yes she'll be fine.The jade leaf is mostly water, still not good for her, but a few nibbles won't hurt.
They are not poisonous.
