My 2 chinnies LOVE their ledge! I put it just above and to the side of their hay rack, and it's now become their dinner seat while they munch, not to mention a beloved sleeping spot! Granted, if I had any power tools, I'd no doubt build my own and save a ton o' money...

Good way to add jumping places in a smaller cage. You could never have enough of these in your cage! I would suggest making your own if you have even the slightest knowledge of working with wood as this will save you a LOT of money over purchasing the pre-made ones.

Yeah it's a WONDERFUL thing for chillis to have, but the price is just an awful thing! You can go to Home Depot and build one of these for the fraction of the price of a Leap-N-Ledge. I built four small ledges and one long one for $7.00 (that's including the price of the sand paper and the screw thingies)and it looks exactly the same as the Leap-N-Ledge. I'm no Bob Villa, so I don't have alot of tools let alone have any idea how use the ones I do have. But I made these easily. So if your a cheap little penny pincher like my husband (LOL) then it's probably better to just build your own ;).

I especially like the larger sized sleep-n-ledge. Gotta replace it every few months, though because my chins love to eat it.
