Sun Seed Sunscription Vita Chinchilla Food
14

PetFoodDirect::
This specially formulated mixture contains bananas, raisins, and hulled oats

this food is terrible for your chins and there's more
than just "a couple" banana chips in it. there's way too
much junk. my vet told me to never feed my chin this
food because it's so bad when i took him in sick :( i
would recommend oxbow pellets.

my chinchilla hated this food. he would even touch it. i switched to fiesta by kaytee and he loves that food a lot more.

Yeesh, you all sound the same! Your all giving it negativity because theres some banna chips in it. I mix it with plain chinchilla pellets, and my chinchilla gets a bannana every week if not less. Before i used to give her it without the plain pellets, and honestly, she is healthy, she has the right amount of energy, and she loves it. It is NOT like feeding children junk food, its like feeding them somthing that tastes GOOD and thats good for them! Just because it tastes good dosn't mean its bad.

I won't really find fault with this product because I have fed it to my chin occasionally during all his 5 years and he really seems to like the variety of ingredients. I agree with the other reviewers who say that it may not be as nutritious as some of the other feeds out there (and I have changed to those other feeds myself). However, who really knows exactly what a chin's diet is supposed to be and what will / will not harm it? I imagine many of the people who give the product one star also feed their chins numerous other "treats" such as raisins each day. I don't think Sun Seed chin food is that bad of a product and would gladly use it again if I run out of the "nutritious" feed.

NOT GOOD!!! It's not nutritionally balanced. Too many treats. And even if you pick the treats out, the pellets them selves aren't even that good of quality. There's much better feed out there, and at much cheaper prices.
( I gave this product 1 star...but really it needs a negative 5 stars)
