Used this before switching to Mazuri. HanPan likes Mazuri way more, and her poops are way healthier.

This food was what came with the original beginner "Superpet: My first home" kit that I bought at the same time I bought my little chinchilla buddy. I thought it was normal for chinchillas to eat so little of their pellets but the second I switched AWAY from this to the local pet store's, my chinchilla eats a lot of pellets. My chinchilla didn't seem to like these pellets very much at all, eating primarily hay and treats..

My chins love Kaytee. I tried to mix in Mazuri to change their diet but they just through it everywhere and they ate more of their hay than normal.

Some chins like it and some don't. This isn't made as often as other brands and is not that fresh by the time you get it to your home and feed it to your chins. As a sub when out of a better brand is ok, but i would never use it as a full time diet.
