July 2001 Cover
We have completed a full year of the CCQ and it has been a great! I think we have all learned a great deal. Thank you so much to our members who have faithfully contributed to every issue:Lani Ritchey of California Chins, Anjela Ross of Crystal Chinchillas, and JoAnn of Luv 'N Chins.Without these wonderful ladies I could not have done it!

I have enjoyed reading your stories and seeing all of those beautiful chinchilla pictures, but member submissions have been very low. This month we only had 2 chinchillas submitted for the Cover. I know many of you have beautiful chinchillas that deserve to be shown off, why not send me a photo? Some of you have said you didn't feel educated enough to write an article. That's OK, you still have something worth sharing. All of us have a special chinchilla at home that means something to us. Tell us about him.I know I never get tired of talking about my little darlings and hearing about other people's chins and their experiences. Share yours with us.

I have been wondering if I should keep the CCQ coming out as a quarterly magazine. With so few submissions it has been hard putting out a regular magazine. I have considered ending the quarterly magazine and placing all of our back issues into an easy to navigate database and just let members add submissions as they want to instead of trying to get a full issue out every few months.

The choice is yours. I love doing the magazines and am willing to keep going if I can get moreparticipation from club members. Or we can go to the database instead. Let me hear from you.Email me here. The amount of response I get will determine if we have another issue of the CCQ. I hope to hear from you.
