Luv 'N Chins

Chin Owner vs. Cat
or Dog Owner

When you wake in the morning your chin will usually wake to greet you and even want a little of your attention, as a rule. You take the water bottle, wash and rinse it and refill it with fresh water. For this you will be happily greeted and ask for a scratch or a rub. He will need you to give him fresh food and a little hay. This only takes a few minutes. Afterwards he will nap most of the day. He will wake to play for short periods of time, just waiting for you to come home from work so you can play with him before you go to bed.

About nightfall you will hear the gentle sounds of him playing in his cage or him calling for you to come play with him. Again, he will greet you happily and be eager to come out to play. He will amuse you with his antics. His running, playing, bouncing off the walls and furniture will make laughter come to you without hesitation. He will comb your hair, give you kisses, run under the covers with you to hide. He will tickle you nose with his whiskers and snuggle close to your heart or fall asleep in your lap.

Before you go to bed he will need a quick dust bath, a little more food and hay, a scratch and a rub and a good night kiss.

Their demands are few and their antics are unending. They will listen to our problems and deepest secrets and tell no one. A clean cage, fresh water food, hay and care and someone to love and to love them, that is all they need.

Much is the same for a cat or a dog, they just take up a little more space, a little more time, and tend to get things a little dirtier. They have their own antics and fun ways to make us laugh. They need and give us love and companionship, the same as any of God's creatures.
