Mirror?

Aloha!

Has anyone tried putting a mirror in their chins cage?  Would it freak him out more or would it be more of a curiousity thing?

I've put my chins on my bathroom sink. There is a large mirror there. They seem to be indifferent to it. Perhaps you should try but understand chinchillas are not visual creatures like cats or dogs. They can see well enough but they don't seem to respond much to visual things.

i have trained my chinchillas to respond to pointing though.
