Free Flying Saucer Wheel in exchange for testing
« on: May 16, 2016, 02:23:35 PM »

Hi,

I'm looking for some volunteers to test a metal flying saucer wheel. It has to be chins that already use this type of wheel.

A little background: I sell the metal Treadmill flying saucers on Amazon. The 14 inch wheel has had a lot of problems: it starts wobbling and making noise after just a few weeks of use, so I stopped selling them.

The manufacturer redesigned the bearing and he assures me the problem has been fixed. But before I start selling them again, I'd like some chins to use it so I can make sure the issue has been fixed.

So if someone is willing to let their chins use it, I'll give you a free wheel. You just have to let me know how it goes.

Any takers?

TIA, Susie

I would if I could but I use regular vertical wheels. I think there are a few on this board who do use those but I'm not sure how frequently they visit.
I recommend asking on this page if you have fb. https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheChinchillaClub/
I hope you succeed.

I would be willing to test the wheel. Do you have any pics or information on it?

Hi,

Sure. It's this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Metal-Flying-Saucer-Chinchillas---Treadmill/dp/B0113HK4X6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1464624336&sr=8-2&keywords=treadmill+14+inch

If you're interested, send me a private message on this forum.

I also got a few testers from the Facebook page, thanks, GrayRodent, for the tip!

This was from a long time ago. I think they were able to get the data they were looking for. Thank you for the interest though.
