washing fleece??

hi, i was wondering can you just wash fleece used in a chinchilla cage in the washing machine with normal soap powder or does it need to be hand washed?

regular detergent is fine for cleaning

Best to be non-scented. They make pet specific detergents that actively kill bacteria as well or you can use white vinegar i think it ks?
