Pine Bedding
« on: October 21, 2006, 06:41:01 PM »

Tonight....I ran out of my Aspen Bedding and had to get some Pine Bedding, of course from Wal Mart it is open 24 hours a day.  It is a Pets Pick brand.  Has anyone ever used this specific kind?  It smells really strong and I don't know if it is safe.  On the package it says that it is "Pine Bedding".

Thanks!

Hi Sweetnessheart, Thank you for wishing me a Happy Bday. I actually use pets pick from Wal Mart, I have had no problems with it. No one has that big of a bag.

::silly::As long as it is 100% pine, you should be OK.  Was it in a plastic wrapping?  Sometimes that will tend to make the smell stronger.  I would loosen it up and put it in a container that will allow it to breath and air out a little.  As long as it is not a musty/moldy/sour smell, it should be fine.
