What size Flying Saucer is safe of a full size chinchilla

Had some money left over and i want to get a flying Saucer wheel and i was wondering what size i should get

15" is recommended for chinchillas. I think it will have difficulty using anything anything smaller. If your chinchilla weighs around 500g you can try a 14" wheel. The reason I say this is because I have a 500g chinchilla that fits on a 14" traditional wheel. I feel it is safe for him but also feel he's almost too big for it. The flying saucer is inherently safer but also more difficult to use for chinchillas. If you get it too small your chin won't use it. Do not use anything made of plastic, use a 15" wheel, and it should work well for you.

The people who make the flying saucer recommend the Standard size (the medium) for chins.  This is the one I purchased, and both of mine learned to use it pretty quickly. http://www.flyingsaucerwheels.com/wheelinfo.html

Thank you for posting that. The recommended size according to them is 13-3/4" which provides the equivalent of a 20" regular wheel.
