What color is my new 3 month old chinchilla?

Yesterday I brought home this little baby boy who is only 3 months old. He was up for adoption as his owner thought that she had two boys but it turned out to be a boy and a girl and they gave birth to my little boy. His name is Teddy and his mom was solid white and his dad was solid black. I really want to know what color he is classified as. Is he considered a beige or a tan or something else? I really have no idea  :)

Can you post a picture of your pet or describe its color? There are several possibilities.
