My name is Nina and my baby's name is Biscuit.

I am a first time chinchilla owner however I have owned guinea pigs in the past. I've had Biscuit for a couple of months and I love him to pieces. I am trying to be the best mom I can be to ensure a happy and healthy life for him. I love learning about how to be a good owner and about chinchillas as an animal.

He is such a sweetheart and I enjoy him more everyday and his little quirks.

This seems like a great community and I am excited to be involved. :)

Welcome to the boards. This is a good place to learn. There are lots of professionals who comment from time to time and they usually have some very interesting things to say. I like your photograph.
