Wooden Hay Box Stains
« on: August 17, 2013, 01:40:39 PM »

I have a wooden hay box that needs cleaning. I have used HP to clean out some of the urine stains, but they are not all the way gone. I've done a bit of research about using bleach on the wood and found that bleach is a no-go. The wood is still wet, would it be alright to bake it? Or do I need to wait until its dry to bake? Thanks!!

I personally don't see anything wrong with baking wood, although, you probably understand the risks of fire if you're not careful.

Snickerdoodlesmom- you put it in the oven at the lowest temp for 10-20 mins til its dry
Mb30- thanks, that actually helped since the stains didn't go deep or anything
