Guys My chinchilla is not dust bathing.Any Advises?

I Put my dust in a bowl & leave it in the chins cage. It jumps inside of it & jumps back out...

how old is your chin?  if hes younger, it sometimes take time for them to realize what to do.  i dont know why, i thought something like that was natural until i had a young kit and it didnt quite know what to do.   :2funny:  i would put the dust on him when he was in the dust bath, quite frankly, i dont know if that helps or not, i just did it,... he will eventually figure it out tho.

My chin is 3mth old...i have already tried rubbing the dust on his body...hes like not doing anything.lol!

when i first got my chin he was exacly like that...i put the bowl in his cage and nothing but i've waited and i've put it after some days ,i left from the room ,and he finally done the bath  rofl
