Color question
« on: May 08, 2011, 05:43:33 PM »

I was wondering if a standard grey, parents are both beige, if bred with a standard have a chance of having beige kits or will they be all standard?

Just in case anyone else sees this thread and wonders...the answer is, no the standard chinchilla will not have a chance of producing beige.
The only colors that can be carried but not actually seen in a chinchilla are violet, sapphire, ebony, and standard.
