Weather Related Question
« on: May 18, 2010, 04:23:55 PM »

I'm wondering if anybody has noticed if their chin is weather savvy? I live in OKlahoma and storms come and go almost daily. When it is going to storm, about 12 hours before, she starts being kinda skittichs and not really moving about much. This isn't just a random event either, she has been on the money everytime.

Yes, I believe they do know. One of my chins Silly starts to shiver. I just hold him. I put a blanket over the chin room window. But every time he does this, poor guy.

AWWWWWWW...they are so cute. I haven't noticed any changes in mine per say....but we have had some really wicked thunderstorms here in Central New York over the passed couple of months and they do not really seem affected and I have to admit I was surprised. When I go in their room to check on them...they are just huddled together...nothing different there....and looking at me as if to say...WTH is going on???  :2funny:   thank goodness...no crying or anything...they are all so different and have such diverse personalities!

I live in Dallas and my girls always act strange before a storm, they are my little weather bug.  Trixie is more in tune with it I think, she gets real fussy and jumpy the morning of a storm, while the storm is happening they are very calm, I always wondered what they are thinking.

I find that just before and during a storm my chins seem to huddle more and kind of calmer.
It seems to be the high winds the notice more here.
On a nice evening they are deffinently more worked up.
