1 of the triplets is just 34 grams

This evening my med. ebony Leona gave birth to triplets. 2 fine standard boys at 41 & 45 grams. Not bad for triplets ::nod::
But the little female ebony is just 34 grams.
I'm not really worried,  :P  always a little  ::nod:: Leona is a pro and has had 3 before.

As the boys are so well developed and rounded I have to wonder if she did get caught at 2 different times. I wasn't expecting her until around the 26th.
So could this little one be a later pregnancy or just a runt of the 3 ??? :wildeyes: hard to know for sure.
Thought I share her and her progress. ::wub::

I am glad to report she is doing just fine.
She gained 2 grams the first night, and is hopping around as good as her brothers.
Some cute & small though.

Yes she is fine... I put pics of her in my album and will keep up dating until she reaches a good weight.

She's up to 54 grams.
The smallest one I have ever had born here was 28 grams, and she did fine as well. Still have her and she is a normal sized brown velvet.

I have never had kits loose weight, how common is that? ::shrug::
Even the 2 I hand feed waiting for Moms milk didn't loose.

when i breed a a few time, mine were about 20 grams.. all were fine tho..
