Sure, but we would need a few people that could be moderators because I won't be able to make each one.  I don't think we have any trouble makers here but its always good to have someone with the ability to moderate and kick people out just in case someone joins the chat and starts trouble. 

Anyone who wants to agree to be a chat moderator is welcome to host a chat.  We can then list it on the Forum calendar.  The only rules you need to remember as moderator is to keep the chat room friendly and family-friendly (age appropriate for the people chatting)  I will be Happy to meet anyone in the chatroom to upgrade their chat abilities and show them how to moderate.  Once you take the ::hah:: "class" you are ready to host your own chat.  :)

I can be a moderator on Tuesday nights....that is when Jim is out of town.....so I can stay on the computer all night if I want to! ::nod::       From 9:00 pm  until....! ::banana::

Moderators MUST be adults ... sorry, adults-to-be, but responsibility for a chat room will have to be carried by an adult.   ::taunt::

    The more volunteers we have to be chat room moderators, the more diverse we can be with times we can have chats.   ::nod::
    If you have a special time you would enjoy being in the chat room, like Sweetnessheart on Tuesday night ... that would the time you would like to volunteer for moderating ... wouldn't you??  Now, come on, we need more volunteers! 
    Keep in mind ... it can be once a month or any number of times you know you can be there.
They can be on a special subject or just general chat or both.  Moderator sets the topic.

Jo Ann you got it all correct!  Thanks for posting that for me. 

Now anyone that wants to moderate just email with a time you'd like to meet in the chat room to go over moderation tasks.  Also you need to register your name with the chat room so that I can upgrade you to moderator.  I will try to leave the forum loaded while I am on the computer so you can see when I am on-line.  If you catch me on just email me and I'll meet you in the chatroom.

I can't believe I missed it. :doh:
It sounds like you guys has a blast.
With more chats at different times it would give us outside your times zones a better chance at taking part.
I do my chins from 9:30-midnight most nights, our time.I get online for  a spell before then, or late afternoons.

Evenings work best for me.  I work during the day and have kids to put to bed.  So 9:00 pm would work best for me.  I'm in MA.  Thanks guys.

Well, with school starting up again, I would like to have it on the weekends. Maybe a sunday night at 6:00(central). Doesn't everyone have Sundays off?

We also have java now, so we will be able to chat! hopefully... :-[
