Hi Everyone! We just got back from Rock Hill, SC where the Southeast Coastal MCBA Chapter show was held this weekend.
We had an Exceptional weekend! I must brag a little!!

Jim is going to post pictures later this evening on our website after we take pictures of our winners! I don't know if we will get everyone's picture taken this afternoon. We and "the chinchillas" are pretty tired!
www.4jsplantation.comWe took 10 chinchillas total: 2 kits (Pink White and Standard) entered into the Baby Derby. For judging we entered: 6 Standards, 1 White Mosaic and 1 White TOV.
In total we got:
4 - 1ST Place Ribbons
1 - 2ND Place Ribbon
2 - Reserve Male Color Section Ribbons (White and Standard)
For the GRAND FINALE:
Champion Female Standard Color Section
Champion Female of Show
GRAND SHOW CHAMPION
YAY....FOR US!!!!
Ann Ingram was the judge and she did an excellent job! This was her first time being judge. She was very informative on how and why she made her decisions on placement of the chinchillas. There were several new people at the show that had never been and the explanations which Ann gave helped describe what needs to be looked for in breeding and purchasing quality chinchillas. A job well done!
