::silly::Hi ChinnieGirl,

The best way to let you know is to let you listen to them ... the sight that I have gone to many times and is an excellent site, is Michael's Chinchilla Home Page at:  http://www.chinchilla-sounds.de/index_en.htm

They do make many different sounds and each mean something different.

I just put some sound video's on my FB of my wild new chin. She hates me LOL I have 2 now that hate me  ;)
Add Debbie Butt Doyle if your on FB
I just added her to a breeding pair, so I have 2 females & 1 male in the cage now.
The older female is letting her know who's boss but no fighting.Bebe holds her down and grooms her. Spice is 9 months old and not doing very well on her own.
I'm hoping living with the 2 mild chins will calm her down. But she is the only one that ever barked or whined in my arms.
I'll try and put them on my web site too, but am having problems with my windows 7, some sites don't know what to do with it LOL

Ok got them on my site too  ::nod::

I used to play those sounds next to my babies and they would respond.  It was cute.

Well I found the 3 in a chinnie pile today,    ::kiss99:: and though Spice hid from me when I opened the cage, she did poke her nose out a tube and take a treat.  :P
Can't wait to get over now in a spell to feed and see how she is.
I have never seen one like this yet  ::pull hair::

No Spice is a tan, lighting makes her look different in every picture.  ::nod:: My other tan is Ginger that's where I got the name Spice  ;)

They are doing great, you'd never know but they were always together. I have heard Spice peep in there, never heard her make happy peeps before.
And she hasn't barked once since I moved her over.  ::kiss99::

Now too see what happens during heat!!! I am hoping Bebe is already pregnant, so it will just be Spice, Trooper will be chasing.
