my cat is so wierd ::beeker::, we think he has like a mental disorder, when he sleeps his leg twitches and his ears shake every time he sleeps and it's so wierd! That was my new cat, it's so sad, we got him at the pet store and when he was a baby,(he was born in a dumpster,) someone stepped on his tail so now his tail is bent in two different ways, it's so sad.my other cat ways 30 pounds!!!! it's hard to pick him up! his belly almost drags on the ground! he's so big!!,and hes grumpy all of the time you'll pet him for like two seconds and he meows.

Q & A / Re: new chin
« on: October 15, 2006, 06:39:36 PM »
i used to own a big cage with a metal pan underneath a kind of checkered board(the squares were small enough so their paws wouldn't fall through). this is a cage for people who can't train their chins to pee in a "litter box". and in that metal pan i just filled it up with recycled paper so you dont have to worry about being low on shavings. when u empty it you just take the pan and dump it out in your outside/big garbage can.(this metal pan is about three feet and the cage is a little smaller so it can go inside of it like the bard game boxes.

Q & A / Re: Question about sound Roo made
« on: October 15, 2006, 06:29:14 PM »
if your chin made kind of a duck quacking noise, it means something else did something he didn't like and he's mad, but, if it was more like a click it meant he was scared and felt vulnerable.

Q & A / Re: grooming
« on: October 15, 2006, 06:20:34 PM »
this might sound wierd but, ::) for chins you could use a horse shedding brick, it looks like foam but it's hard and rough,it picks up hairs when they are shedding, they don't cost much either, and yes, it's totally safe for your chins.  it works really well.i know it sounds funny :2funny:but it really works, i go riding all the time and we used those on the horses and they worked really well so i bought a new one and used it on my chin, he really enjoyed it!

Memorials / Re: Baby Tan Girl Passed
« on: October 15, 2006, 06:13:00 PM »
im sorry your chinnie past, i had one pass too, a couple weeks before christmas. i woke up one morning buiscuts was lying like a dog and my parents didn't get home for another hour so i made him a bed in the hallway made of his blanket and sat next to him and sang to him until my parents got home. we rushed him to the vet where he passed an hour later.for the first couple of weeks it was hard to wake up and not see his little ears perk up when i got up to give him a raisen, it was even harder knowing that he was gone forever.
so i can relate to your pain, but i know your chin will have a very special place in your heart.

Q & A / Chin doesn't chew on anything
« on: June 19, 2006, 05:24:30 PM »
Hi, :::grins:: My chin is three years old and he doesn't chew on his toys ::shrug::. His brother chews on everything. I  have to take him to the vet every other month to get his teeth trimmed :do:. Is there anything I can do for him???
