Thank you so much for your help,Ive been rotating the babies every half hour and they are doing great they have become very active little babies.

Oh no can cats make chins sick,my old kitty has a weired relash ionship with my male chin they like to lay on the floor togatheir when I let him out in my bedroom for play time with me,they even groom each other some times.

My friend brought me some pets left in her rental property,two of which are two kittens prob about 7 weeks and they wont use the litter box! Ive tried every thing they go in my plants and in my corners.Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have any idea how I could do that with out stressing her out more the poor chin is just a mess and I'm wondering what happened to the dad and if she misses him,could I put the cage in the bathroom let her climb out clean it and wait for her to climb back in or is there a possibility she wont get back in?

OK so the little runt died,I tried to bottle feed him but he just keep getting weaker and weaker,And strangely the other babies have seemed to calm down,but now if I even walk in the room mam ma sprays urine I dont even need to be near herand I think I should clean the cage out to get any smell left by the little runt out or will this not make a difference.I dont want the mom to be upset if she can still smell him,but to be honest I'm not sure I can get her out of the cage without her going crazy and hurting herself.

Yup I'm rotating them and I know this will sound crazy but the babies are mean when I go to pick them up they bite me and stay attached to my finger sometimes it can be over a minute be for I can get them off me.

Therewas some food in the cage bur no water,Im guessing these animals wwre never taking care of because she also briught me two kittens that dont know how to use a litter box! Mom has lots of food and water now,but heres the other problem she bites and hard enough to draw blood,she also sits up and will spray me with what im guessing is urine if I try to touch her she just freaks out,my first chin wasnt the frienliest girl but nothing like this shs like a rabid animal Im scared if I try to look at her I will hurt her.

My friend is a relator and found them in a empty house,so I dont know anything about mom her health if she had been feed latley the house was empty for a week so I dont know how long they went with out food.

So I took in a pregnantmom who had 4 babies Three days ago and the babies are fighting! They are biting hard I know this cause they have bite me when I break them up.they are constantly fighting so much I have to seperate them from the cage and mom! Anyone who can help please do I dont know what to do.

I lost the baby kit out of 4 only the big one has survived,the picture is exactly what they looked like theres heads were very large and there butts stuck out and three were so much smaller then the one thats doing good,the mom was giving to me pregnant so I have no background on her and im so worried the one I have is also going to die,losing three has been devastating I cant lose the one I still have.

Thank you,My vet said it looks like the baby might of been concieved at a different time then her brother who is the only one out of 4 who is doing good.But its very hard for me to just sit here and hold her while she dies I wish there was just something I could do.

My chinchilla had babies 4 days ago the rnt is not doing well shes just laying in the cage im pretty sure shes dying,my vet said theres not much he can do that this just happens,does any one have any ideas,is there nothing I can do.

I don't sea any chewing yet but I'm planing on getting a new cage soon this one is small and I would like a sturdier cage for them,one they can not get out of.

I do think she was misshandled when I went to get them there cage was just filthy the plastic shelves were chewed in so many places and the ramps were hanging on by a thread I promply removed all that from there cage,so now theres only the bottom of the cage it is about three feet tall.Do you know when there nipples start to get long and if you can feel the babies moving inside her?
