Health / Post Op - help / Question

Hi all, proud owner of two lovely win boys. Sadly one needed a dental op 7th of January.

Pleased to say it isn't malo and he's home and eating critical care.

I do have a question or wondered if others could share experiences etc to either put my mind at rest or kick off more action on my part. The chinchilla is happily taking critical care from a spoon. Cutting to the chase, he made it through the night and is happy with his brother. I am noticing some post op drool, which I assume is from the filing ?

Is this common? When should I expect to see the mouth improve?

Odd place to post as I know none of you, however I do read the forum a lot

On Tuesday my 23 year old Chinchilla Bunty died. I am absolutely heartbroken. She had had a dental op on Monday, came round, ate, bathed, but wasn't interested in play time, not the first time that has happened.

I came down tuesday, sadly she had passed away

I adored this animal, she had play time everyday, she had fresh foot, cleaned, every thing, she was so tame, I am not sure how you share pics here, but we had a bond. She was the greatest gift I have ever been purchased, she was so beautiful

R.I.P little one, you couldn't imagine how much im missing you
