Health / Sneezing?

Hi, yesterday I noticed one of my chins is sneezing more than usual. I took her out and examined her and everything looks fine. When I took her out of the cage her sneezing stopped. I just put a new wooden sleeping hut in their cage on Friday, so I'm wondering if she's allergic to that? They chew on it and create wood chips and dust so maybe that's the problem.. I took the hut out and cleaned up most of the wood chips. Any more input would be great :-) thanks

Health / Urine on fur- underside/legs?

Hi, my white female chinchilla has wet urine in between her legs and around her privates. I've just given her a dust bath and the dust is sticking to the wetness a little. Is this normal or should I be concerned? She's eating and drinking fine and seems to be acting normal. I've also just moved her and her cage mate into a whole different cage and setup today if that helps with anything. Thanks for any help (:

Cages / Where to buy CN cage liners?

I'm looking for cage liners for my CN pans and shelves and was wondering where I could buy them cheapest and good quality. They also need to have the clips on each corner to attach the liner to the cage. Thanks for any help!

Cages / Paint a chinchilla cage?

Hi, I have a chinchilla cage that was previously used for my other chins that sadly passed months ago. I'm planning on moving 2 different chins into it. I've cleaned it with vinegar and then with bleach, and I think all of the scrubbing caused it to rust. My father used steel wool to get the rust off and then spray painted it without me knowing. The paint was lead free and there are no fumes left. I'm not sure if the paint was labeled non-toxic on the can though.. Will this be okay ir should I have him remove that paint and buy something else to paint it with? (I'm gonna look at the spray can bottle tomorrow to read it.) And the cage is a metal cage CN. Thanks!

Cages / Vinegar, bleach, or both?

Hi, I'm disinfecting a chinchilla cage that I previously used for different chins (they sadly passed away) and am wondering if I should use vinegar, bleach, or both to disinfect and how much. Thanks
