Guestbook / New Mommy of Three
« on: January 20, 2012, 11:53:58 PM »
Hi, I'm Elissa.  I am a Nurses Aide and Student Nurse.  Mommy to 2 rowdy boys.  I speak Spanish and ASL.  I'm married with 2 little boys.

I've inherited 3 chinchillas.  I believe that these chinchillas haven't been handled enough recently.  However, before the lapse they were very loved and I can already see it coming back to them.

I've had them for a couple of months now and so far I've learned a lot through research.  I now know about feeding, bedding, water, hay, chewing wood, dust baths, etc.  However, I have some very specific questions I'm trying to find answers for.  Most of which revolve around Blair and her kits.

1.)  Houdini - he's the friendliest and my little buddy.  Also, he's a bit of an escape artist.
2.)  There is also Bella - she's pretty sweet if you let her take her time.  She's shy and if you push her, she'll panic and bite.  I'm working with her though.
3.)  Finally, there is Blair, the frequent biter.  I was told when I got them that she's pregnant.  Now on January fifth, she had 2 kits.
