Title: Great Sadness
Post by: Alanson09 on February 04, 2017, 06:23:32 AM
Odd place to post as I know none of you, however I do read the forum a lot

On Tuesday my 23 year old Chinchilla Bunty died. I am absolutely heartbroken. She had had a dental op on Monday, came round, ate, bathed, but wasn't interested in play time, not the first time that has happened.

I came down tuesday, sadly she had passed away

I adored this animal, she had play time everyday, she had fresh foot, cleaned, every thing, she was so tame, I am not sure how you share pics here, but we had a bond. She was the greatest gift I have ever been purchased, she was so beautiful

R.I.P little one, you couldn't imagine how much im missing you

I feel your pain. I've just lost a beloved chin to root elongation. He was only two, and a rescue chin. The pain I'm feeling is horrendous. This sweet little boy had a short life, but at least he knew love for part of it. He was an abuse case initially.

23 years. That is a long time to have a pet and it is especially hard when you've lost one you've had that long. I feel for you and pray you'll be comforted.
Although I do say congratulations as well. That is a very long life for a chinchilla and I'd be pleased if my own pets make it to half that. You obviously took very good care of her.

It's nice to see you loved your pet this much. She was lucky to have you and vice versa.

SO sorry for your lose. It is never easy saying good buy to a loved pet. 23 years is a good long life. You did a great job she must have lived a great life with you. I hope you in time open your heart up to another chin that could use your love and care. So many chins looking for loving homes.
