Her dam dried up when they were 5 weeks and Niji was a runt so she did very poorly when they decided to just feed large puppy kibble without softening and no supplements.  She was 3 lbs when we brought her home.  On premade ground raw patties and goat milk she caught back up fast and is now doing fine at 11 lbs on kibble with smaller pieces.  She thinks chinchillas are fluffy tailed puppies who should play with her. The chins are not impressed and go about their day ignoring the bouncy puppy in the room.  My more nervous ones are in the basement away from seeing her.

very pretty.  i had a mutt once, half husky/half shep, and i def saw both breeds in him.  one of the husky traits he had was the "talking", and i loved how vocal dillion was, it cracked me up and i miss it and him.  all of my other dogs were/are pure german sheps  and they arent as vocal :(.  i would love to get another, but i cant handle how stubborn they can be.  dillion had the shep smarts, learned very quickly, but if he didnt want to do something, the husky came out of him.. drove me nuts..  he was such a fun dog tho, we did so much together, and i was blessed to have him for 15 1/2 years.
