Title: Chinchilla 3d art - does it look accurate?
Post by: GrayRodent on February 27, 2012, 07:59:07 PM
I am making a 3-d model of a chinchilla and aiming for accuracy. Right now I am concentrating on the just the shape. I hope to texture it and make it a standard grey color. I would like to see what you think about these test renders of its head. Any critiques are appreciated.

Thank you

I would make the ears a bit more round, and not as pointed at the end. Otherwise looks good :)

I would put the nose in more for a blunt face  :)

Not counting the hours research on organic modeling methods and staring at photographs of chinchillas it took about 2 hours. I'm actually starting over on the model and paying more attention to the nose structure. Thank you everyone for your input.
