This is to see what animal people would prefer. Cats or Chinchillas? ::shrug:: Dogs or Guinea Pigs? ::think:: Ferrets or Rabbits?

Just wanted to see. Some people may breed chinchillas and they still may like other animals more. ::shrug:: It`s possible.

::silly:: I love all animals, but chinchillas have an extra special place in my heart. :) I think they have more personality, take up less space (unless you have 100 like I do), don't smell like most of the others do, are softer (softest fur known to man), usually listen better, are quieter (except when you are trying to sleep at night :D ) ... and the look they give you when they want something, will melt any heart!

Cat's isn't among your animal choices...on a forum for chinchillas of course they are going to love chinchillas...
Personally I can't say I have a favorite...same way with skin kids...you love them all unconditionally for who they are...We have English Bulldogs, Ornate Wood turtles, a Ball Python and Chinchillas...
Does that mean I hate Guinea Pigs...ABSOLUTELY NOT! I love Guinea Pigs! I had one when I was small with tons of fur calics and was calico. He was so cool...Why did I not choose a guinea pig for my son...but went with chinchillas...their urine doesn't have the odor that a guinea pig has...they just don't really smell. And they are cute and I love how they stand on their back legs...and hop around...They are definately entertaining. ::silly::
Your asking which is "better"...I can't say any of our pets are better than the other...each have their own qualities that make them special...if you own a certain species of pet...it's because they've pulled on your heartstrings...So I didn't mark any of your animals on the list...
A ferret lover...would be better to sing the praises of ferrets. If you just want our opinions...I think you're going to be disappointed with my answer...if your looking to decide what you personally want as a pet. I would suggest you join forums of each of the ones listed above...research...and then bottomline...decide which one you find that the husbandry is do-able for you...and not a chore. That's a big factor in my opinion...for if you know what your getting into...and are willing to do it without sighing every time it comes to the care of the pet...then you can appreciate that animal for who it is...far better.

I know I am posting this on a chinchilla site, but I just wanted to see if anybody liked other animals more. I knew when I posted this that most likely people would choose chinchillas, but I kinda just wanted to post a poll. And it is my very 1st poll. ::nod:: In the future I probably won`t post silly stuff like this and now I guess it was pretty stupid of me to post that. :doh: Sorry if you didn`t like it. I really shoudn`t have posted it on there.

I love the chins best for all the reasons Jo Ann posted. Most of us have and them all, and then some. ;D

No, it was not silly ... it was a good question, most of us have pets other than chinchillas and we love them all. It's OK if someone loves another pet more than their chinchilla and the voting is private. You had a question and posted it ... You wanted to learn about doing a poll ... you did ... and it takes time to think what options to make when you make a poll ... you did well. ::nod::

i have dogs, cats, ferrets and chinchillas..i love them all..
