Hello everyone:

If you follow the below link , please examine the thrid item down called the homemade swinging ledge. Is something like that safe for my chins?

I don't see why not.  I would suggest not hanging it close to a wall if you have more than one chinchilla.  It would probably be fine even then but that would keep a chinchilla from getting sandwiched between it and the wall if another chin jumped on for a swing.
